About the area
Within a 5 minute walk from the apartment you have: Gordon and Frishman Beaches, the promenade (HaTayelet), Dizengoff square, and Cinema.
As you are located just off of Dizengoff Street you have a plethora of mom-and-pop shops along with retail stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, pubs and clubs.
Expanding the range to a ten minute walk will find Dizengoff Center, the largest mall in Tel Aviv and King George street which runs into the Carmel Market to the South.
At the Carmel Market you can try out your haggling skills and come out of there with some good deals!
If you head East you will find Rabin Square, and Ibn Gabirol Street. This area is full of history yet at the same time is bustling with shops, restaurants, and a fantastic night life. There is always something happening at the Rabin Square.
This is also the beginning of Chen Boulevard which turns into Rothschild. It has a great park/walkway in the center of the street that goes all the way down to Allenby. This is a wonderful place to take a stroll.
If you head North-East from the apartment you will arrive in the Old North which has turned into a younger feel in an older part of the city. This area is also full of history and a great place to wander around with all of its events and attractions. You have some amazing restaurants in the area.
If you head North you will find Hayarkon park full of activities; you can go kayaking, hiking, biking, rock climbing, play football, soccer, baseball and more in set areas. You also have outdoor work out classes and barbeque pits in different areas of the park.
North-West of the apartment you will find the Port of Tel Aviv with all of its wonderful Restaurants and coffee shops. There is also another shopping center in this area and the Tel Aviv Farmers Market!
Last, but certaintly not least, if you head West you will find yourself at the Tayelet (Tel Aviv's Promenade) and the Frishman/Gordon Beaches. This area has many amazing beach-front restaurants with full service, and chairs on the sand where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner!
You can also go onto the beach itself and lounge on the beach cots where you have take away service as well and can order from the waiters in your area. This is perfect for those who love the sun, love the beach and love to eat!
